    Tom Harte: Hi! My name is Tom Harte. I am a Board Member of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Today, I am going to be discussing childhood obesity. Did you know that up to 70% of the cost of healthcare in United States of America is a result of preventable healthcare conditions? Decisions that Americans make everyday, have a dramatic impact on the cost of your health insurance premiums.

    In this video series I will address the impact of childhood obesity in our nation. Preventing the onset of lifestyle-related disease is imperative to reining in these high costs and people need to take more responsibility for their health which will reduce overall healthcare costs. I will also discuss tips to help overweight children and the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle.
