Tom Antion shares some tips on how to become an exciting speaker. This video will focus on heirloom handouts.

Tom Antion: Hi, I am Tom Antion a professional speaker who has done many presentations around the world. What I want to tell you about today is how you can keep your presentation handouts from ending up in the wastebasket. I like to call them heirloom handouts; where I put something important on every single page of the handout. Sometimes I make them in color, but if you have an important resource on every page, people will not be able to just tear off your resource page and throw the rest of it away.

Also, don't be afraid to invest in yourself a little bit. We give away DVDs and CDs, all of which have good information for the person that gets them, but it helps promote our products and services and it keeps my name in front of them. We even go as far as giving out complete books, this is a 300 page gorgeous soft cover book, but it really only costs us $2 to print when we self publish. So we give everyone in the crowd one of these and without fail after reviews the book during the presentation, someone will buy much more expensive training that more than pays for the cost of the books.

So make some heirloom handouts for yourself and you'll be remembered forever.
