Pirooz Sarshar, co-founder of the Grooming Lounge, shows you how to get the perfect shave.

Pirooz Sarshar: My name is Pirooz and I am the co-founder of the Grooming Lounge. Today, I am going to teach you how to achieve the perfect shave. The key to a great shave starts with washing your face. So I am going to use a dime size of this product. I am going to wet my face and I am going to use it in a circular motion all over. And I am ready to shave now. We are going to start out using a shave oil. You apply a few drops and I am going to work it into my beard. Now to get a closer shave and get a smoother shave I am going to apply a shave cream. And I am going to put it on the oil, and what we are going to do is we are going to shave with the grain and working it.

Now the thing to remember is when you are shaving, you rinse your blade often. And you want to do this in hot water. Now I have my razor at 90 degree angle and I take a pass. It comes through, we activate the product, stretch my skin, watch I stretch my skin, and I take a pass. As you can tell I have left these two areas for last. And a lot of men have irritation on their neck and what you want to do when you are shaving your neck, most guys make the mistake of going really fast or dragging the razor, you dont want to do that. The key is to always, always, always stretch the skin, hold the razor in a 90 degree angle just like this and shave down. I want to shave off the mustache. Now I am going to teach you how to go against the grain, now you are thinking, well you have shaved your face, your face looks like you have a really, really close shave, but my goal is to get it so smooth and so soft that it's almost like baby skin. And the way I am going to do that is I am going to take my shave oil and I am going to apply more shave oil to my skin. This is the wonder product. And I am going to work it through all the way. So, now I am going to against the grain, alright. So, here watch. So, there you go, until next time, take care.
