They have a longer shelf life and you can keep a can of green beans a lot longer than you can keep fresh green beans. So this might just make it easier for you to fit in fruits and vegetables. In fact, some fruits and vegetables for example, tomatoes actually have increased nutrient content after for example, the canning process.
