Roger Bennett Riggle: I am Roger Bennett Riggle and today we are exploring the world of advanced tap dancing. This is my assistant Alison Taylor and she is going to demonstrate for you now a double time step and a double time step we add more sounds than what was in the simple time step.
So we start with brush heel. We are going to brush the right foot back. We are going to drop the left heel and then two flaps and then you switch off toe heel right left. Let's do it one more time. So you are going to brush with the left foot now. Drop the right heel, two flap which take weight and you switch off left to right and so and it switches off feet for you, so you can go right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot or you can start with the left and go to the right. Here we go up to tempo. Five six seven and brush heel, flap, flap, switch off, brush heel. Flap, switch off, brush heel, flap, flap, switch off. It also has eight counts and one two three four five six seven eight.
Here is the view from the side so that you can see the heels dropping and brush heel, brush heel, flap, flap put off and one and two and three and four five very good and that's a double time step.
Now we are going to move to a triple time step in advanced tap dancing which even has more sounds in it.
