    Host: What are values?

Karen James Chopra: Values are the things that are really important to you that define how you are going to live your life day-to-day, and these are very often difficult to articulate. When somebody says what is your most important value, this is not something that you are going to be able to state right away, but they are things that we feel quite deeply and we often notice them when they are being violated. So, values are things that are important to you across the lifespan, not just today but across the lifespan.
