After all, the alternative to aging is not a good one, but there are many things within our reach that can help us to age optimally well. Lessening the risk for chronic illness and increasing the odds, but we'll be vibrant and healthy for a long time to come, and most of them are pretty easy and well-known to you already.
Get at least seven hours of sleep a night. Follow a delicious and healthy anti-inflammatory diet. Essentially, some mix of a Mediterranean and Asian styled pattern of eating.
Work exercise into your routine on most days of the week to keep yourself active. Exercise can also be a great outlet to relieve stress. Do what works for you to manage your stress in healthy ways. And finally, maintain an attitude of optimism and gratitude so you can better cope with life's ups and downs.
