Artist Tony Moore demonstrates how to set up an airbrush, how to load your paint and how to prepare your paper.

Tony Moore: Hi, I am Tony Moore with Fraser Street Publications. Today I am going to show you how to use an airbrush. In this clip, I'll be showing you how to set up an airbrush, how to load your paint and how to prepare your paper.

First, let's connect the airbrush to our air source, which is an air compressor. I use a dual action airbrush. With a dual action airbrush, it has two motions, you press down for air and you pull back for paint. Now let's load our ink. Place the reservoir into the recessed area underneath the airbrush. I have already attached our newsprint paper to our easel so that we can practice. In our next segment, we'll be discussing how to use the airbrush paint and airflow.
