Publisher James Frey discusses using ghostwriters when writing a book.

    Host: What about ghostwriters?

James Frey: If you are looking to write your own story; we get this question all the time. I have written the best book or I am thinking about writing the best book since the 'Da Vinci Code'. But I want to hire somebody to help me write the book.

Those people are available, but it will cost a lot of money to get that kind of professional writing assistance from people for your book. I am not saying you should not do it, but be aware that there is a cost of hiring someone to help you write your book. You have some wonderful sources available to help you in terms of giving some critique, some input, some suggestions, you have family members available to you probably, most likely, you have personal or professional acquaintances who could give you input and assistance and I will encourage you to use that rather than to think about hiring a ghostwriter to help with writing your book.
