Host: What are some healthy snacks I can keep at my desk?
Wendy Reinhardt Kapsak: Having healthy snacks at your desk is a great idea and many of the same items we are going talk about can actually serve are items you can keep in your desk for breakfast or even lunch. Having some whole grain crackers on hand is a great idea.
You can also have that peanut butter handy that - and those are two items that you know can stay in your desk for a little while and still be really fresh and yummy when you are in a pinch. Some other items that you can have a dried fruit. You can also bring in a basket of fresh fruit in the beginning of the week and just kind of have that on hand for some snacks. Now you can't always write with a sharpie your name on those, but it can still serve as a healthy snack. Having some nuts, trail mix in your drawer, this is perfect as well. For the trail mix, just make sure that we are keeping it to a handful or so for a snack. Having yogurt cups in your refrigerator, that might be a good idea as well.
