Host: What if I am too busy to workout?
Elizabeth Rahavi: Being too busy to workout can feel like a problem for a lot of people. The good news is while we recommend that you get 30 minutes of activity in your day, this doesn't has to be done all at once. You can split this up into three ten minute segments throughout the day. You can try walking the steps in your building for ten minutes. You can walk for ten minutes in the morning before work, doing another ten-minute walk during the lunch break and another ten-minute walk when you're done with work. This really helps for people who are busy.
Also, consider ways that you can get physical activity into the things that you're already doing. If you're going to the store to do some shopping, consider parking farther away from the door. Also, if your kids are playing soccer, you can walk around the field while they're playing since that they're the only ones to get to have physical activity.
