    Jim Frey: If you are working with a print-on-demand or self publishing company to publish your book, the key thing is to make sure that they have relationships with the major book wholesalers in the United States that would be Baker & Taylor, that would include ingrown, as a book wholesaler. There are some smaller ones called quality and others. Those publishing company should have relationship with those because many bookstores will procure their copies of the book through those wholesale companies. Just as important, that print-on-demand or self publishing company should have a relationship with Amazon, which is the 800 pound grow up internet book sales. They are the biggest and they are very good at it. They should have a relationship as well with the major bookstore chains. The Barnes and Nobles, the Borders, the Waldenbooks. So, as you invest, again, as an author, options of which publisher to work with; make sure that they have relationships with, again, the major wholesalers, the major bookstores and the major internet booksellers.
