Host: What types of prep materials exist for the SAT?

Laura Rheinauer: There are a ton of prep materials at your disposal. You can look behind me and see a huge stack of books so there is books to be found in your library, at the local bookstore. There are classes. You can find classes easily online. There is usually going to be some type of prep class offered at your High School. There are plenty of SAT tutors that exist out there. There are lots of resources online too. If you just do a search engine search on SAT prep you are going to get a thousand hits I guarantee you. There are a lot of prep materials out there. I just ask you to be wary of ones that offer a guarantee or a definite answer or the magic here or try to strike fear into you because that's not really what I want this prep business to be about. It's a 310 million dollar industry. Keep in mind; industry. So look for the prep that's going to work best with what your needs are and your own personality.
