Host: What would you say to someone who has an issue with perfection?

Gary Ryan Blair: The perfectionist mindset is really interesting. What this person is doing, they suffer from what I call, three to get ready. There is an old saying, one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready.

What these people suffer from is three to get ready, three to get ready, three to get ready, three to get ready and they live there life in this, in this abyss. They are just stuck waiting for perfect circumstances, for the perfect mate, for the perfect timing, for the perfect set of circumstances, for the perfect weather or what have you and the reality is we live in an imperfect world.

Now, one of us a perfect, conditions are never going to be precise. That our entire society and everything about it has imperfections. The best that you can hope for is good and once you have that, then you execute it and unfortunately, the concept or should we say, embracing perfection is nothing more than a really sophisticated form of sabotage and most people don't want to look at it that way, but that is really what it is.
