Host: Where can I find the better fats?
Sarah Alligood: So when we say that we are looking for a source of a certain type of fat, you have to keep in mind that all foods with fat have pretty much all types of fat within them, but you are looking for foods that have more of a certain fat. So when you are looking for foods that more unsaturated fat, some great places to start would be fish. If you like fish, fish are a great source of unsaturated fats. Also, nuts, seeds, things that are made from nuts for example, peanut butter, also avocados are great source and vegetable oils. You have probably heard about olive oil, also canola oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil are all great options to get unsaturated fats. So try to keep that in mind when you are cooking at home to maybe be using some other vegetable oil. When you are buying products look at the ingredients and see what types of oil that was put in them and try to choose the unsaturated kind.
