Elizabeth Rahavi: Fruits and vegetables fit in everywhere. The good news is you don't have to eat a whole a whole apple to get the benefits of an apple. You can try having slices of an apple in a Waldorf salad. You can have apple sauce or dried apple pieces. Spinach is another example. You can eat the spinach salad, you can have some sauted spinach or you can have the spinach in the spinach lasagna. Do you often eat out of the box whether it comes from a cupboard or a freezer? Be adventurous with the recipe and try adding more fruits and vegetables in.
