    I left my job as a high profile government official and attorney to pursue my passion -- establishing I-LOVE-ME, LLC and the i-love-me collection.  This business was created from my own journey to love myself after a life of being a perfectionist, overworking, major health issues, a 6-year unfulfilling marriage (and subsequent divorce), and doing what everyone else wanted me to do and be.  When I started to put ME first, everything in my life changed:  I lost 50 pounds, developed good boundaries with others, learned how to say "no," eliminated the dis-eases that ruled my life, and put my work life in proper perspective.  I also re-established a relationship with my father after 18 years of silence between us.  In short, my gray world turned to color by making one decision to have a better life -- a life I deserved.  Now, I feel grateful for everything that has happened and will happen in my life.

    People often asked me what I did to make such a radical change and what I was doing that gave me my new "glow."  Some even said it appeared I had reinvented myself.  It was then that I realized that my story is not unique -- many women suffer from the same neglect that can only happen when she takes care of everyone and everything but herself. 

    The i-love-me collection is dedicated to all women who need a reminder or want to be inspired by the message that she is a woman before she is a wife, sister, daughter, mother, friend, or co-worker.  It is an invitation to pursue a life of self-love.  I now have a website that features the successful journeys of other women and seeks to become a place where women can feel supported when they otherwise feel like a team of one.

    Ria Moore Benedict: Oh, frankly, your physical health is the only thing you have. It s your life source, you only have one body and you have one life time to live in this life and some of the things that the doctors says are true, for taking care of your physical you should get plenty of rest, you should drink lots of water, stay hydrated your body needs that. You should eat good, make good food choices, eat healthy food and you should exercise, all of those things are very critical. But one of those things that s even more critical to your physical health is detoxing and taking your pH. By detoxing mean doing 0:36 cleanses at least twice a year. If you are someone who has health issues like I had then you would want to do a detox even more frequently, maybe four times a year.

    What you really want to focus on however to have a measure for whether or not you are physically healthy because a lot of people they are but they are not necessarily, is to get a good pH monitor, a good pH stick, and you can get them at most health food stores, alternative medicine stores, those types of places.

    But pH balancing is really important, it's just like your body s temperature wanting to stay at 98.

    6 degrees. Your body also wants to stay within pH balance and that s when you are really most healthy. So when you are out of that range, which is a good range is 6.

    5 to 7.

    5 but the range for the pH is 4.

    5 to about 9, when you are in that healthy range, you feel great. Most people don t know what that really feels like, so you would want to eat more foods that keep you in that healthy range which means that you would want to balance your diet between those things that are more acid forming and those thing are more alkalizing.

    Certainly, if you go online and you research pH balancing or you get some pH sticks you will understand a lot better about pH balancing, why it s important and how these diseases that come out are just a manifestation of your body not being in that balance.
